ELIGIBILITY: SWEEPSTAKES Open to Legal Residents OF THE fifty (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AGE 18 or older as of 5/3/08. ("Sponsor"), Weber Shandwick and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, judges and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and/or Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
HOW to enter: Complete official entry form available at [www.Dogsrule.com] and click on "Submit". ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BETWEEN 12:00:01 AM (ET) ON 5/3/08 AND 11:59:59 PM (ET) ON 10/15/08. Limit: one (1) entry per person and per email address. Multiple entries received from any person or e-mail address after the first entry received from that person or email address will be void. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means are void. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
SELECTION OF WINNER: Winner will be selected from all eligible entries received in a random drawing to be held on or about 10/16/08 by an independent judging agency whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
Grand Prize and odds: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: A 4-day/3-night trip for two (2) to Phoenix, Arizona from 11/7/08 to 11/10/08 to attend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series – Checker Auto Parts 500, scheduled to take place on 11/9/08 at Phoenix International Raceway in Phoenix, AZ (the "Race"). Trip includes: roundtrip coach class air transportation from a major U.S. gateway airport near winner's residence to a major airport near Phoenix, AZ (airports selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion); standard hotel accommodations for three (3) nights (one (1) room, double occupancy); two (2) tickets to the Race (seats selected by Sponsor); ground transportation to/from airport/hotel and to/from hotel/Race; and a brief meet-and-greet with Kyle Busch (the "Meet/Greet") (exact time/duration to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion). Approximate Retail Value: $12,000. Actual value may vary based on point of departure and any difference in prize value will not be awarded. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. All other expenses not included in the Grand Prize description above (including, but not limited to, ground transportation expenses, taxes, fees, gratuities, meals and insurance) are responsibility of winner. Winner and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary. Sponsor not responsible for postponement, cancellation or alteration of the Race or Meet/Greet. Race tickets are subject to terms and conditions of their issuer. If winner resides within a 100 mile radius of Phoenix, AZ, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute ground transportation in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or other substitutions will be provided for the difference in prize value. Travel must be made through Sponsor's agent, on a carrier of Sponsor's choice, in seat locations determined by Sponsor. Winner and guest must comply with all applicable Race venue and Meet/Greet rules, and failure to do so may result in forfeiture of prize. If, for any reason, Race and/or Meet/Greet are postponed or cancelled, trip will be awarded without them on same itinerary, no additional compensation will be provided and Sponsor will have no further obligation to winner.
Winner's travel companion must be of legal age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence unless travel companion is child/legal ward of winner. Minors must be accompanied by parent/legal guardian. Certain travel restrictions may apply. Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute prize (or portion thereof) with one of equal or greater value. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes. All prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor responsible only for prize delivery; not responsible for prize utility, quality or otherwise.
VERIFICATION OF WINNER AND DELIVERY OF PRIZE: Winner will be notified by telephone and will be asked to complete an oral affidavit of eligibility, including the recording of his/her social security number. Upon satisfactory completion of the oral affidavit of eligibility, winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and, where permitted, a publicity release. Travel companion must sign travel release. The affidavits/releases will be sent to winner by overnight delivery. Entry into this Sweepstakes constitutes winner's and trip participant's agreement to sign such releases. Prize may be awarded to alternate winner if two (2) telephone attempts to make live contact with the selected entrant within the twenty-four (24) hours immediately following the drawing are unsuccessful, if winner is unable to travel on dates specified, if affidavit/releases are not returned within five (5) days after attempted delivery to winner or if prize notification letter or prize is returned as undeliverable. If potential winner is at least age 18 but a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, prize may be awarded in the name of a parent/legal guardian in Sponsor's sole discretion. Parent/legal guardian is responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winner set forth herein and must accompany minor winner on trip as travel companion. Winner agrees to use of name, address, likeness and/or prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes in any medium, without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law and without notice, review or approval, any such use with respect to minors to be subject to prior approval of parent/legal guardian.
General Conditions: This Sweepstakes is void outside the U.S. and where prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Delaware. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the U.S. Sponsor, Weber Shandwick, judges and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, "Released Parties") are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, damaged, misdirected, misaddressed, undelivered or garbled entries or email or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with this Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of this Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any Sweepstakes-related material.
